If Homer Simpson can build his version of a car, we should be able to.
Once complete, we need someone with photoshop / CAD skills to render it.
Remember: we aren’t building the fastest car. We are building our most desirable car.
Engine: LS9
Chassis: Panther
Roof: convertible
Transmission: 6spd Manual.
Body: Tail fins and big chrome grill.
Windows must have window vents

Engine: RB26 DETT
Chassis: whatever
Roof: wagon with a sunroof
Transmission: 6MT
Body: sleek, yet somewhat understated

no window vent? no bench seat? :P I like it.
GM will build it for us the 12th of never
![]() 06/28/2017 at 11:00 |

Oh shit. We’re keeping the bench seat. I just need it covered in connolly leather.

I like the way your mind thinks. This would be incredible
![]() 06/28/2017 at 11:02 |

YES!
Spare tire shall be mounted on passenger side near front wheel.
Rear shall have a chest for all the picnic shit wife needs.
I have not yet decided on 8 track. I’ve never heard it so I don’t know how good it really is

Engine: LS7
Chassis: Alpha
Roof: Hardtop, sunroof
Transmission: 6-Manual
Body: 4-door ute
Drive: Rear or AWD
Misc: MRC, leather-bolster cloth sport seats, lime green or burnt orange
...
But in reality I’d just drop an LS7/T56 Magnum into a ‘93 S10.

Engine: K20C1 (the CTR engine)
Chassis: Cayman or MR2
Roof: fixed
Transmission: CTR 6-speed
Body: 90s Honda throwback, like a baby NSX
![]() 06/28/2017 at 11:21 |

So a Stagea
![]() 06/28/2017 at 11:25 |

Engine: 1LR-GUE
Chassis: LFA
Roof: Fixed
Transmission: 6-speed automated sequential gearbox

you need to think outside the box more ;)

This interior
6 wheel drive of course...and those wheels somehow driven by two of these:

Fine. Ash trays.

There. Now you’re a rebel!
![]() 06/28/2017 at 11:28 |

Perfect! Will there be an AWD wagon version, in brown, that I can buy for $2,500 in 5 years?
![]() 06/28/2017 at 11:28 |
|
Is it all in one car that already exists?
![]() 06/28/2017 at 11:35 |
|
Yep!
- The body comes from the custom limo smart (IIRC a Russian firm built it).
- The interior from a Maybach Mercedes.
- Two engines from Chrysler Turbine Cars.

Engine: LS9TT (that would be blown and twin turbos)
Chassis: Zeta (with input from Pratt & Miller)
Roof: Coupe (carbon fiber)
Transmission: 7 speed transaxle (Tremec TR-6070)
Body: Coupe 60, but more like a Coupe 60.R
Interior: Like a 2+2 Z06 with hints of Cadillac and built in FIA certified roll cage
Basically the ultimate GT racer

A bit too boxy for my liking. More like a modern take on a Stagea.
![]() 06/28/2017 at 11:58 |

Nah, boy. It’d be a Miata Shooting Brake.
![]() 06/28/2017 at 12:03 |

Even the newest ones?

V8 manual twin turbo brown wagon miata shooting brake

Never, but I will tease you with that exact product offering for decades, only to release them overseas.

Supercharger or NA for me.

i am already rounding up parts for mine.....
model t tub, on t rails, with a v8, 4 speed, 4x4. and light as can be.........

Funny no one wants to build an autonomous car... or automatic.... or lane sensing, smart cruise controlling car.
Take that Googles/Apples/Teslas of the world. We don’t want it

all the fun stuff sounds thirsty too.....

i always get a kick out of seeing conservation stickers, and fuel efficient cars. i just keep thinking..... “great, more for the REST of us”....... “glad i got to use it up before it was all gone”......
![]() 06/28/2017 at 13:59 |

The manufacturer of me only issues me one life to live. Pretty brief too. No incentive given to keep this planet in any decent shape after my visit.
I see it like a rental. Use it. Abuse it. Scram.
FYI, someone just blew a head gasket reading the above. Long hair. Hugs trees.

oooh, sounds like a parts car just got freed up........ might have to let it air out for a while......
hippie wagons usually make good starting places for fun projects.........

Make sure you clean it well. Cops don’t buy the “It’s not mine” excuses anymore.

Awesome! That way we can continue to look longingly at pictures of them, and whine ad nauseum.
![]() 06/28/2017 at 15:23 |

Hmm, I’ll need more time to hammer out the details, but I know this much.
Engine: R-4360 wasp major
Chassis: you try finding something factory made for that engine
Body: REO pickup along these lines with mild chop maybe old heavy duty truck is more realistic
Or
The fuel tank on the second might even be big enough to pass a gas station without stopping.
![]() 06/28/2017 at 15:24 |
|
28 cylinder??? Good luck with that 18 wheeler for a gas tank
![]() 06/28/2017 at 15:35 |
|
That’s why I chose a tanker as the second body option. I figure 2000 gallons should get me to the nearest cars and coffee with one hour long fuel stop on the way home. The credit card cut-off at $75 at the last gas station is going to suck though.
The other option is to set it up to run on 14 cylinders. Where’s the fun in that though?
![]() 06/28/2017 at 15:43 |
|
Give me 28 cylinders or give me death. I think that’s the Texas slogan on license plates.
![]() 06/28/2017 at 15:50 |
|
I mean I did somewhat restrain myself. The XR-7755, 36 cylinder was another possibility.

Too Many Cylinders
- No one.
